Karissa B. Anderson has gained considerable experience in the family law field since joining Rosing Law in 2007. She focuses her practice on matrimonial and custody matters. Ms. Anderson is a court appointed child representative and guardian ad litem.

Ms. Anderson received her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law. A member of Dean's List, Ms. Anderson was also a recipient of the Illinois Bar Foundation Scholarship. She was very active within law school, participating in the ATLA Student Trial Advocacy Competition and the NIU Moot Court Prize Competition, where she was a Quarterfinalist. She also was Vice President of the Public Interest Law Society, and Head Student Representative of PMBR NIU-COL. She earned her B.A. in Legal Studies and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of: Association of Women Attorneys, Illinois State Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association.
